Mark your calendars for the Annual Dane County Fire Chiefs Fire Truck Parade!

This popular event is held each year to mark the beginning of Fire Prevention Week in Dane County.

The parade includes nearly 30 fire trucks from many of the Dane County Fire Departments.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 5. The gleaming trucks will start their journey at the intersection of State Street and Lake Street and proceed up State Street to the Capitol Square.

Once at the Square, the fire trucks will be on display until 3:00 PM for children of all ages to look at.
